ADHOPE’s field-workers provide food packs to those in need, ensuring that those most vulnerable are able to build up their strength through proper nutrition and are assisted with the responsibility of feeding their families.
This is important, since a person who has not eaten cannot be given medication, whilst a child who has not eaten cannot learn and concentrate in class.
To set up the project, ADHOPE works in partnership with the income generated activities to provide training in various sectors, such as, cutting hair, computer literacy, braiding hair, knitting, sewing and shoes repair. The field-workers are trained themselves and in turn coach and train the families. The start-up funds and tools are provided by ADHOPE.
